Agent / reports always hung except right after BI bounce

Hello, when we try to run Agent / reports always hung, except right after BI bounce. this is OBIEE 11.1.1.9, but the logs are clean. nothing changed for many months. since the logs are clean, most of the resources on both DB and application are idle at all the time, does any one know why they hung? why it is only ok right after the OBIEE application bounce? but it does not last 1 day and hung again. thanks!

It may be difficult to understand why they hung without some in-depth details and diagnostics.
It is not clear from the post what exactly is hung (i.e. an OBIEE process with CPU utilization , or just the agents are not delivering the analysis/dashboard)?
From a high-level, you can ensure your agent schedules are not concentrated to initiate in a small time period.
Perhaps, check Usage Tracking and Session logs to see what is being executed (perhaps one of the analysis or dashboard was modified, and the SQL is inefficient.
Check your SMTP server logs
If an OBI process is hung, you may need to to gather pstacks or core file analysisThis may be better suited for a service request to capture all the details.
Note: OBIEE 11g is only eligible for sustaining support.
