Datasets Dependency analysis

Hello,
We have multiple workbooks using the same datasets. Is there a way for us to know from a dataset which workbooks are leveraging this? This will help us to ensure all the workbooks are working fine when we make a change to the dataset.
Also Is there a way to get a summarized access roles on FDI reports ? Eg what roles are assigned to which reports or datasets and vice versa like what reports a particular user can see ( from an administrator view point) . This will help to cross check and verify the access control instead of inspecting every dataset and reports

Hi Joseph,
Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community!
For OAC, you can use the Governance extension plugin.
https://community.oracle.com/products/oracleanalytics/discussion/25165/oracle-analytics-governance-custom-extension-is-available-for-download
For FDI questions, you may want to ask in that specific community

Thanks for your question.2

Hi Joseph, the workbook in the video (https://youtu.be/oPQy1SezpRw) is just an example, the value of the extension is to generate the different datasets that you can reasonably analyze with OAC. Let us know if you need further help. The extension can be downloaded from our Extensions Page : https://www.oracle.com/business-analytics/data-visualization/extensions/
Thanks

Thankyou. Is there a similar way to analyze (consolidated view of) the roles/groups assigned to the datasets and workbook? Some of the datasets are shared between different workbooks.
During the promotion from the lower region we have observed the Roles are default to lower region setting and we need to manually go in and update the same.

I don't know that an API exists to extract that relationship. @Bret Grinslade - Oracle Analytics-Oracle , any additional information from your side about Joseph's question ?
