Description (Required):

Our customer attempted to implement Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS) and provided feedback that we would like to share. We hope Oracle will consider this as an area for improvement in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) service.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

The customer has engaged OCS and VMware consultants (Broadcom) for the design and construction of their OCVS implementation. During a review of the design document, the VMware consultant noted that the Management Network was not redundant and was identified as a single point of failure (SPOF). This poses a risk to the stability and reliability of the system, which is critical for the customer's business operations.
